The Coral Gardeners (CG) are an organization based locally in Moorea whose goal is to revive the coral reefs in the lagoon. I am working with them to determine how their restoration projects may impact the overall biodiversity of the reefs using environmental DNA. This research will provide valuable data on how environmental DNA can be used to improve the management and conservation of the ocean.
