We intend to (1) quantify acoustic backscatter on the fore reef slope, (2) quantify temporal variation in moonlight, (3) sample fish larvae settling into the lagoon, (4) collect migrating lanternfish up to 1km offshore at night, and (5) conduct pilot studies to quantify fish respiration rates in the lab.
