We plan to use the Desert Studies Center as a basecamp for our desert bighorn sheep capture for 1 day. We also hope to stay at the Center the night before the capture operation. The exact day may change based on weather conditions or helicopter maintenance requirements, but the capture operation is tentatively scheduled for November 7th. This would mean that we would stay at Zzyzx the night of November 6th. Please be aware that this date may shift by a day or two. Considering we have conducted similar operations at the Desert Studies Center in the past, the Field Station Manager is aware of where to set us up for our capture operation on site.
