We will be studying geological and geomorphological aspects of dryland environments. These include playas, alluvial fans and sand dunes. We are looking at contemporary processes and the impact of past environments on landscape evolution. We will not be taking any samples of any kind and are not conducting any experiments - our visit is simply 'look see'.
