Working on the manuscript tentatively titled "classifying groups by properties of their word problem". This is a research topic at the intersection of Algebra and Logic, where we combine the study of word problem of groups from Algebra with the study of the computably enumerable equivalence relations from Logic. The hope is to mesh ideas and explore new directions in both areas. The research is theoretical in nature, and we plan to carry out the last segment of the research and start writing up the manuscript during the visit.
