Our group stayed at the DSC in January of 2023 and had a fantastic experience! We plan to return in 2024 on a field geology course that is offered every 2 years. The course, GEOL-322 Mojave Geology, studies local and regional geology. We plan on running several day trips to the Rainbow Basin north of Barstow. We have a maximum of 20 students and 2 faculty members (total group max of 22), although we will not know our exact number until the fall of 2024.
