I plan to collect seawater samples the at 3 locations in Tetiaroa to measure the effects of submarine groundwater discharge on coral reef metabolism. (net ecosystem calcification and net ecosystem production). I will be positioning an automatic water sampler in the benthos (non-destructively) to collect seawater over a 24 hr period.
