Coal Oil Point Natural Reserve

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife's Office of Spill Prevention and Response (OSPR), in coordination with NOAA, annually host an Environmental Response to Oil Spills course. Part of the course includes field trips for hands-on experience to include a demonstration of oil spill response equipment, a mock Shoreline Cleanup Assessment Technique exercise, and a Resources at Risk/Wildlife Identification guided tour.
