Snowy Plover Docent Internships 2021/2022 The Snowy Plover Docent Interns educate beach visitors about the biology and conservation efforts to protect the Western Snowy Plover and ensure that the protected areas are free from trespassing and off-leash dogs. Our goal is to balance beach access and recreation for visitors with protecting the Snowy Plovers and other native fauna. Other interns in the program perform administrative tasks to support the docent program such as recruiting, training, scheduling, and entering data.
