I plan to examine distributions of the sea anemone Anthopleura sola and map their spatial positions. This will be done by placing clear plastic sheeting (9x12 ft.) over certain areas of the intertidal zone and tracing the diameters of anemones onto the sheeting. No aspects of the environment are disturbed or manipulated using this method.
