Conduct the annual Santa Cruz Island Christmas Bird Count which is conducted as part of the Audubon Society's Christmas Bird Count. This is an international event and this year's count window is from Dec 14 to Jan 5. The island count is planned for January 2 and due to cover-19 concerns as well as boat travel restrictions and options only on-island SCIR and TNC folks will conduct the count. The 24 hr count period will be Jan 2. TNC and Island Packers, along with SCIR, are co-sponsors for this event.
