The CEC is a multi-campus working group. We are planning this convening to continue planning our People's Economy Project.
The People’s Economy Project is a popular-education project to mobilize along key fault lines of racial capitalism. We aim to work alongside and uplift the work being done on the ground, cultivate new working partnerships, and share strategies and analysis with a broader public. We are currently developing a series of popular-education programming based on Police Abolition, which combine (1) Popular Educational Films, (2) Mobilization White Papers, (3) Educational Infographics, and (4) Digital Workshops. Next we hope to expand with future projects to address justice in Food Systems, the Housing Crisis, Climate Change, combating anti-Blackness, Labor reform and workers’ cooperatives, Indigenous rights and land struggles, Immigration reform, and Healthcare for all., etc.
