Sandy Rodriguez will produce field sketches in situ of the endemic plants, geology, and geography; gather specimens specific to the Santa Barbara Coastal Chumash tribe; as well as experience and see firsthand the Santa Barbara coastline and night sky from the island that will inform her work.
