We will visit SCI for one day to re-survey some of our previous collecting locations to look for plants and bees. The purpose is to observe what plants are blooming this time of year along with what bees are active. We plan to arrive at Prisoners harbor and hike to Pelican Bay and back. We will not be visiting the reserve itself during this trip, but the trip is part of an ongoing bee/plant study of the island and the reserve. I will also be bringing 5 undergraduate students with me to look for bees/plants and learn the natural history of bees on the lsland.
