Purpose is to conduct the 2024 Santa Cruz Island Christmas Bird Count which is an annual count conducted as part of the Audubon Society's national/international Christmas Bird Count. This year's count window is from Dec 14 to Jan 5. The island count is planned for Jan 2, so most participants will arrive on Jan 1 and depart on Jan 3.
