First I would like to arrive in the afternoon and receive an orientation, as Jim Andre said I should. That same afternoon, I would also like to briefly walk through the plots to see which plots look most promising. Then I would spend the night at Yucca Bajada campsite near the mouth of Cottonwood Basin. At dawn, the next morning I would like to initiate bird surveys, which I will probably finish around noon. Then I would do some vegetation surveys at our plots, which would take a few hours more.
