We plan to arrive Friday afternoon and stay at Norris Camp. Friday afternoon will be intro to the desert/ sky islands walk, with botanizing and natural history. Saturday we would like to visit Granite Cove and have Jim Andre give us a talk on past and current research at the reserve as well as some of the biggest threats to the desert ecosystem. We would like to hike a portion of the Granite Peak trail. Sunday we plan to visit Cima Dome and the Kelso Dunes.
