The requested visit will be to scout deployment sites for a next generation imaging system to estimate invertebrate drift. The two sites to be scouted will be the visitors center and streamside campsite at Redwood camp. Once a deployment site has been secured, I intend to test the deployment and calibration protocol instream. Finally, should the deployment prove successful. I will collect invertebrate drift samples and upstream benthic samples as described in my application.
