I am now healthy, and ready to establish/collect the last of our soil pits in the redwoods and rangelands at Big Creek. We are analyzing soil properties and soil carbon/nitrogen pools between these two plant communities. We have 7 pits to dig in 2 days. We will most likely return to the Vicente Creek watershed, at the same general locations we sampled from in March.
