On this visit to the reserve, we will be shadowing Kerri Frangioso of UC Davis as she takes us to areas affected by the Dolan Fire. In particular, we will be looking at the interaction between sudden oak death and wildfire damage. We will be collecting footage of areas affected by sudden oak death and conducting interviews with Kerri. Our film, Ashes, is looking at a variety of factors that contribute to wildfire intensity including logging practices, rising temperatures, fire suppression, and diseases such as sudden oak death.
