This visit is part of preliminary scouting for potential future research projects in Neal Williams lab. We are plan to observe the reserve and identify potential areas where ant colonies and bee nesting sites may be located. This is a study visit to Quail Ridge Reserve on August 30, 2025, from 9:30 am to around 2–3 pm. I (Zhitao Jiang) and one friend (Steven huynh) plan to observe bees and ants along the designated trail. We will complete gator training beforehand, and we will sign the liability waiver as required. We willl only be hiking or driving along the permitted routes for insect observation.
