Surveyors will use available roads and vehicles to access vegetation, then hike to reach target destinations. They will conduct surveys to capture environmental details and species lists at representative vegetation according to the CDFW/CNPS Rapid Assessment/Releve Protocol. They may need to collect a small amount of plant material for identification purposes.
