This summer we hope to return to 3 established plots that were last re-surveyed in 2012. The plots are circular, 500m2, with a 12.6m radius. The center of each plot has a short piece of rebar with orange safety cap and the Researcher Plot Number written on it in paint pen. There are 3-5 trees with permanent, aluminum tree tags which help us find the plot and re-locate the center if anything happens to the rebar. We do not plan on manipulating the forest in any way.
