On this first visit to the Angelo, we plan to sample a set of 4 reaches within 1 km along the South Fork Eel near Phillipsville for anatoxin-producing cyanobacteria. The sample collection will occur off the reserve, but it would be ideal if the students (Jordan Zabrecky & Andrea Garcia Jimenez) and technician (Robert Padan) could stay at the bunkhouse for the night before and the night after a sampling day before heading back to Reno. In subsequent visits, the team will include just Andrea ("Dre") and Robert with occasional visits including Joanna Blaszczak.
