Over the course of three days, we plan to collect, document and study the fungi across the reserve. We will be exploring the different trails across the reserve to get an understanding of the biodiversity of the region. We also plan on using the data to compare what is fruiting this Spring to what we have observed fruit in previous years and seasons. This will give us an understanding of how the ecosystem is changing, how the fungi are responding to different seasons, and how abundant certain species are.
