The plan is to have two days (Friday-Sunday) to both experience the reserve but also discuss goals as a cohort to further the departmental mission. With the hope that we can enhance our research towards addressing both basic and applied issues in the field. In addition, we are trying to create opportunities for cohort bonding to provide a supportive community during our graduate studies. Activities will include team building exercises.
