Hastings Natural History Reservation
08 May, 12 PM - 09 May, 12 PM
MVZ Retreat: This retreat for the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology will focus on community building with our current members. We anticipate engaging in group activities which may include: small mammal trapping, brief herpetological surveys, mist-netting, and avian observations. We expect that these activities will not only build and strengthen the interactions among community members, but they will also expose our researchers to some of the vertebrate organisms found at Hastings and to the facility itself, possibly generating interest in the location for future research projects.
