My proposal’s primary objective is to capture human traces alongside these wonderful sceneries to, as you put it, bring awareness to man's impact on nature's creation. The end result of my research and travels will be an exhibition that showcases this theme and hopefully affect people’s perception of “Leave No Trace.” The concept of “Leave No Trace” seems to me the most appropriate means for protecting our natural environment. The process of taking a picture within this framework is a work of perfecting the balance of the positions and distances of objects within the frame. The process of photographing “negative” human traces against the backdrop of nature also requires finding a balance in composition. I think the process is similar to meditation and I hope the viewers experience the same.
