We plan to prepare our fenced research area for planting this fall. We will clean up any lingering plant materials left from last year's work at the site (by Jacob Levine) and lay out landscape fabric over the cleared area in preparation for planting. If possible, we would like to drive down to the site from the upper gate to drop off rolls of landscape fabric (which are big), but we can carry them down from the road if that is better given the status of the road this year. We will also see if the deer fencing needs any attention in the coming year, and we would also like to move the old rainout shelters (from last year) to be immediately outside of the fenced area if that is OK with the Reserve Staff.
