The purpose of our visit is to welcome the incoming graduate students to our department (EEMB) at UCSB. We plan to conduct team-building activities, go on hikes, introduce students to the UC Reserve system and local area in Santa Barbara, and discuss the expectations of a graduate degree at UCSB.
