My team and I will be working in coordination with the TREX group to collect bio-aerosols during their prescribed burn activities. We will set up a dry air sampler down wind of the fire during the prescribed burns. The dry air sampler will collect smoke particulate on electrostatic filters, and my team and I will replace the filters approximately every 30 minutes during the burns. We would also appreciate access to the Sedgwick Reserve one hour before the burns begin in order to collect ambient air samples for comparison. At the end of each day, we will disassemble and remove the dry air sampler from the sampling location.
