We plan to gather all available grads from our department to organize working groups based on subfield so they can work on their respective dissertations and/or papers for upcoming conferences. A subset of us will plan different workshops around writing compelling abstracts, pitching to journals strategically, writing a prospectus, and completing a dissertation chapter. We'll also schedule film screenings and presentations throughout the weekend.
