Use as an operational base to conduct subtidal surveys out of Morro Bay. Under the direction of Dr. Mark Carr, a team of six divers will be carrying out subtidal surveys at eight sites stretching from Point Buchon to Little Irish Canyon. Rancho Marino will serve as the operational base only, with no actual research activities taking place within the reserve. Our activities onsite will include: lodging, vehicle parking (two trucks), vessel parking (1), and daily boat and gear rinsing.
