On our joint Marine Conservation and Restoration Ecology field trip, we plan to educate students from the Masters in Conservation and Restoration Science Program in California natural history, ecological research methods, and local ecology of the central California coast. Activities for the two classes will vary slightly: - Tidepool surveys (no collecting) - day excursions to Morro Bay and Piedras Blancas - Plant & bird surveys - Pilot surveys and explorations for future research projects We can provide more details of the specific surveys we would like to do with our classes closer to the date!
