We will deploy several small microphone array nodes with about 10-20 meter intervals to spatially localize the vocalization of these species in a field. Each node is composed of a Raspberry Pi zero with a USB connected microphone array that has 8 microphone channels, which is put on a tripod. We also replay the vocalizations of these species using a loudspeaker during recording. We will find appropriate locations for these purposes for a few days, and then conduct whole day observations and short-term playback experiments during the remaining days.
