We would like to visit the reserve to sample several bird species. The work will contribute to three projects - 1) Samples to be used for the California Conservation Project - a statewide initiate, 2) sampling of sperm from several bird species to contribute to a large global dataset on evolution and drivers of sperm morphology, and 3) we hope to make BORR one of our longer term baseline study areas to investigate how bird communities and genetic diversity will change over time.
