Blue Oak Ranch Reserve

17 Mar, 12 PM - 23 Mar, 12 PM

Our field objectives are to collect unburned reference soil cores for gamma spectroscopy, squirrel burrow counts to constrain sediment entrainment rates, GPS points, and a final round of rock drop experiments, soil cores and particle size counts along the study transect in Arbor Creek. We will probably also dig a pit or two to get a good look at the subsurface and possibly collect samples for 10Be. Depending on time and equipment availability, we may also do collect targeted ground penetrating radar (GPR).
