WiSE (Women in Science and Engineering) at UCSC will be hosting a retreat for graduate students in STEM fields to build community among academics navigating what is typically a male-dominated and isolating career environment. The purpose of planning and hosting this retreat is to provide graduate students with a safe space for sharing their challenges, knowing that their voices will be heard, understood, and addressed with care.
