We plan to have various sessions for our journal members to increase the strength of our journal. These sessions will include 1) passing on institutional knowledge, 2) training the next year's board, 3) discussing how we can better incorporate environmental justice into our work, 4) checking sources and citations for our next two publications, 5) envisioning how our transition to an entirely web-based journal will affect our work. Being in Yosemite is vastly helpful for this work because it allows us to be in a place without distractions and among the environment we work to protect.
