Our plan is to drive from UC Merced on Saturday morning and to possibly visit the real swinging bridge and Mariposa Grove on Saturday. On Sunday, we might visit the Valley area. This will be a field trip for Carson House, UC Merced sustainability-themed Living Learning Community. (There is also a class associated with the LLC.) We are modelling the two days loosely off Field Curious (e.g. renting vans, students will make their own meals) and recommendations from Jessica Malisch.
