The purpose of the retreat is to be in a quiet space free of distractions with concentrated time dedicated to dissertation writing. Anthropology students will be afforded the opportunity to work on their dissertations both silently and workshop style. Faculty will provide structured guidance (one on one and in groups) throughout the weekend.
