The primary purpose of this visit is to check the feasibility of the proposed study. My aim is to survey the reserve to locate Eriogonum plants, observe if they are in flower and record coordinates so they can be found more easily at a later date. I will also be observing native bees, if visiting Eriogonum at this time. Therefore, during this visit I aim to begin to develop an understanding of the diversity and community dynamics of bees that visit desert Eriogonum.
