UC San Diego's Making of the Modern World Program and the School of Medicine's Center for Community Health have a Youth Advisory Committee which is a college preparatory and public health program, with a distinct component of youth empowerment. The youth are chosen by application process and will have been working together for 5 months by the time of this retreat.
