Steele/Burnand Anza-Borrego Desert Research Center

The NASA Student Airborne Research Program is a summer internship program for undergraduate juniors to study earth system science from onboard a NASA research aircraft. Students also perform research at field sites. The program faculty come from the University of California. The aerosol research group (7 undergraduates and one graduate student) (led by Profs. Roya Bahreini and Andreas Beyersdorf from UC Riverside and UC San Bernardino respectively) plan to conduct aerosol research around the Salton Sea and would like to base the group at Barrego Springs Reserve for one night (6/27/2019).
