We are using the reserve as a base station for field exercises in the Coyote Mountains (Domelands) and in the Loop Wash area of the Anza Borrego Desert State Park. Students will me making measured sections in both places and describing the sedimentary rocks, their fossil content and interpreting the paleoecology based on this evidence.
