Tim Lawton, Becca Lawton’s brother, would like to deliver a large print by Bob Schepe that belonged to their father to the UCI Anza-Borrego Research Center. Their dad had a deep love of the Anza-Borrego area, knew Bob, and apparently visited with him from time to time. You may already know about this from Becca, who has more insight into that history than I do. I am planning to drive with my wife (Diana) from Sonoma, CA, and arrive in Borrego Springs in the afternoon of May 28, which is a Friday. If you have space for us, we would love to stay for a couple of nights. If you are booked up because of Memorial Day, we can make other arrangements, so don’t fret about it if you don’t have room.
