Lodging reservation to benefit research under the direction of Professor Nathan S. Lewis at Caltech. The annual research review and strategy meeting conducted with Professor Lewis, Dr. Azhar Carim, current and prospective graduate students, and group alumni and possible summer undergraduate researchers enrolled for studies at Caltech. Research under Prof. Lewis focuses on developing artificial photosynthesis technology that enables sustainable production of hydrogen fuel using sunlight, water and carbon dioxide. Research interests include phototropism in non-biological inorganic matter and related pattern free nanoscale 3-D lithography. Lewis is also interested in weather-based data-driven modeling of deeply decarbonized electricity and energy systems based on variable renewable energy and technologies for long-term grid storage.
