UCM NRS guided tour of MVPGR on microbial ecology and extreme environments for Microbial Evolution (BIO 124) class. We are learning about Archaebacteria with specific interest in extremophiles. Anything about Archaebacteria would be great, but I also think they would be interested to learn that extremophiles exist among animals and that vernal pools are one of those places, so anything about the harsh conditions they survive would be fantastic.
