Kendall-Frost Mission Bay Marsh Reserve

Day 1 (7/21) - Deploy 3 minnow traps in tidal creeks, flag field caging sites within marsh. Day 2 (7/22) - Set up 8 lidded circular mesh cages (.5m diameter) in marsh, collect minnow traps, gather crab individuals (ideally 19 Pachygrapsus crassipes and 19 Leptuca crenulata), and place crabs within cages. Day 4 (7/24) - Monitor burrowing, maintain cages Day 7 (7/27) - Remove crabs from cages and cast burrows, Replace crabs and begin trial 2 Day 9 - (7/29) Monitor burrowing, maintain cages Day 12 (8/1) - Remove crabs from cages and cast burrows, Replace crabs and begin trial 3 Day 14 (8/3) - Monitor burrowing, maintain cages Day 18 (8/6) - Remove crabs from cages and cast burrows, Breakdown and remove all materials from marsh
