I plan to conduct field collections of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes from the greater San Diego area. This will involve deploying standard oviposition and CO₂-baited traps at designated locations within the reserve. Collected specimens will be transported to UC Davis for Raman spectroscopy analysis to study biochemical signatures of insecticide resistance. I just want to use the reserve to support it and also for housing.
